Electronic Medical Record Connectivity Initiative

Providers who use Athena, Availity, EPIC, or Healow:

Meridian/Centene has implemented a provider connectivity program which allows bi-directional data sharing between Meridian and providers using the systems noted above for their electronic medical record (EMR) system. This will result in more timely electronic data sharing. Why is connectivity important?

• Improved Health Outcomes for Our Shared Patients – Data is available at your fingertips. Providers connected via Care Gap Exchange can see Quality and Risk Adjustment care gaps on their computers as they meet with their patients.
• Easier to Do Business with Us – Meridian will receive charts electronically. This will reduce the number of medical record and chart retrieval requests coming from Meridian to your office.
