LGBTQ+ Resources

Meridian is committed to providing our members with the resources they need to ensure the best possible care. We offer resources to help educate and connect youth, parents and those working with youth who identify as LGBTQ+.

If you/your child identifies as LGBTQ+, you can get connected with a Community Resource Coordinator to support with local resources or a Behavioral Health Care Navigator for mental health needs.

They can help you by:

  • Sharing local resource guides that list LGBTQ+ support centers, such as counseling, STD and HIV testing sites.
  • Offering an easy-to-read LGBTQ+ trifold that lists Michigan resources, as well as education on LGBTQ+ health topics
  • Connecting you with other resources that can help youth who identify as LGBTQ+ stay safe.
  • Offering mental health case management support

For more information, please call Member Services at 1-888-437-0606.

A positive environment is vital to help youth thrive. The resources Meridian provides can help address questions youth and parents may have.
