- Doulas will help you make a birth plan and help plan for your baby
- Doulas are on call 24/7 and will meet and stay with you during labor and delivery
- Doulas will provide prenatal, childbirth, and postpartum education to you and your family
- Doulas will support your cultural traditions and preferences during pregnancy, delivery and after your baby is born

- Have fewer C-sections
- Have shorter time in labor
- Are two times less likely to have birth complications
- Are four times less likely to have a low birth weight baby
- Have less stress, anxiety, and depression
- Have better communication with doctors and nurses
